IBM’s recently released 2018 Global Location Trends report ranked Manchester and Liverpool as the 10th highest metropolitan area globally bringing in foreign direct investment (FDI) – with cyber security and fintech projects helping drive explosive growth throughout the Northwest.
The cities combined brought in 68 FDI projects, and created 7000 jobs for the region – effortlessly beating other super-cities like Toronto, Bangalore and Shanghai.
